It depends on the day of the week, but on weekdays, it will be around 20 people at around 10 o'clock
I think that there are also objects that were captured in Tokyo Bay I think that only sushi could be enjoyed
It Will take 1 hour.
Hahahaha I also think so Hahahaha watashi mo sō omoimasu
You can do it alone. However, it is a shop that many foreigners visit, and it may feel a bit lively if you are alone.
It is the closest place to go to the ground through the restaurant street in Ginza 5 in front of C1 exit of the Marunouchi line.
Shinbashi station
When rotating, there are many things that the line has already been made
Went during lunch and had to wait for a bit, very considerate of them to provide cold green tea for those waiting outside. The food was alright by Japan standards, nothing to shout or cry about. Prices are decent and hence the popularity. Service could be better, wait staff is alittle rough on the edges.
Not the best or the most refined sushi but the very good quality of ingredients and testy. Very reasonable price comparing to what they offer. Be prepared for waiting for hours to get a table.
Tough need to wait for a long time, it's good value for money, fresh and tasty. Must try the liver of Anglerfish, sooo good!!
What can I say about this, it is what I was looking for in a sushi place. It has a ATM looking machine outside that adds you to the que. It truly makes me rethink my idea on sushi. Even having the California Roll changed my mind what I think I know what a California Roll. I would totally go back again if I'm ever in the area
This restaurant is a bit of a double edged sword. The food itself is very good and the price is reasonable for the quality and amount. The difficulty is getting to the food; the wait time is long, we waited 90 minutes and arrived at 18:15 on a Friday. The service within the restaurant is efficient but not very friendly. After being seated we waited 30 more minutes until the food was served. Was the food worth the wait, hard to say. I'd say the whole experience warrants 3.5 stars but I can't do that here. If you're going, don't arrive hungry, because you'll be famished before eating a good meal.
We spent around ¥3800 for two people. Having 2 sushi sets and assorted sashimi. It was absolutely worth it. The sushi chefs were really friendly and happy to serve is. We took the counter seats as you can watch the chefs. A girl changes the chefs cleaning towel every 30 minutes or so, ensuring good hygiene. And lastly, the portions of sushi are a lot. Also, green tea topped up everytime it gets cold or once you've finished.
Long waiting time for a seat. Faster if single customer n sit at counter (instead of a group waiting for a table). There's a queue number machine outside for reservation). Food was good n prices reasonable.
Amazing value for the quality you get. The tuna plate is the star of the show. I always go here at least once when visiting Tokyo. Highly recommended.
This is a classic case of a restaurant getting too popular and losing the quality it once had. Service isn’t good. Food isn’t great. Don’t wait more than 30 minutes.
There's a reason why there's a line in front of this place and not at the other sushi restaurants on the same street. The sushi here is phenomenal. The only regret you would have is not going here to have sushi. The sushi here is top quality for a really amazing prices. There is usually a line here so prepare to wait a while but you'll be rewarded for your patience.
pact with locals and you have to wait in line to get a table. but that means that this place is very good. and yes it is. prices are moderate and not that expensive and you can enjoy fresh and good quality sushi....I think that the best one is the XL Anago. so tasty and deliciousmake sure to take the plates which can save few Yens and ask for a green tea which is always good with a sushi meal...
Very nice and affordable sushi restaurant! The food is very fresh and delicious, the salmon roe is amazing, also the different selection of sushi! Staff could be more friendly! Note: The waiting time is around 1 hour for lunch or dinner time!
Sushi was good but very pricey for pieces other than white tailed fishes. We waited over an hour for our sushi to arrive, the same with the table next to ours. In fact, we both had to remind the waiter where our food were before it being brought to us within the minute. The waiter did caveat the long waiting time, so rating is considered as we agreed upon long waiting time. The set sushi meal is very affordable, but you may need to order more to be filled.
Great sushi, really good price, but of a wait to get seats so don't come if you're in a rush.
High quality sushi and sashimi with a wide array of options.
Good quality, but not worth the 2 hour wait in my opinion. There is plenty of good quality fish for a reasonable price in Tokyo. I also thought that our sushi chef was a bit careless, he got a few orders wrong ( ours and our neighbors). Overall we enjoyed our dinner there, but to be honest I won’t come back.
Me and my family hear a lot about this restaurant, so we decided to go knowing there may be a small line. That was a complete understatement!!!! We waited for about 3 and a half hours standing up. Finally we asked, because our number (221) was not called, but 220 and 222 were. We were skipped on the list. This is completely understandable though, because there are so many people waiting. We got seated and ordered. The food was amazing!!! It absolutely melted in my mouth, and everything was great. I love this place, but never again haha.
Very Fresh, reasonably priced food products here. You won’t be disappointed. The one hour wait for a seat was worth it, I’d definitely queue again.
Fantastic sushi. There was a long queue in front of us but it only took about 30 minutes to get seated for two. Service was excellent and the place was full of locals.
Food quality = Literally as good as 300USD per person Sushi place, Price = very affordable (30 USD ish per person), Service = very good, Interior = it's actually like Denny's, Value for buck = excellent! Make sure to get the counter.
Well worth the long wait, good quality sushi and very good value for money. One service staff member appeared to have a bit of an attitude but maybe that was the language barrier. Despite that, I'd still go again. The sushi is that good.
Good fresh sushi in Ginza. Order the Salmon with cheese.
Amazing sushi, truly!!! As a Japanese cuisine fan and big sushi lover, Midori sushi is really a perfect place to enjoy authentic sushi with fair price. Please enjoy your meal here but you must be prepared to have long queue here, and super worth for it!!
Oishi and delicious but long queue. I waited for 2.30hr for dinner. I tried again when the restaurant opens (11am) but there was already a long queue, i waited for an hour. I dont recommend the oyster tho ..
Great tasting sushi at good prices. Long queue always, so go early to get a queue ticket. Don’t leave after getting the ticket as the restaurant staff checks if you are still waiting around. Will come back!
Amazing sushis for adorable prices! The classic set (800Â¥) is a very good deal :D
Great quality sushi for an appropriate price point in a fairly expensive part of Tokyo. The staff was extremely friendly and make sure we had everything we needed (tea, beer, somewhere to put our things). They also gave us complementary miso to complete the meal (maybe this is standard but hadn't had this after travelling 2 weeks in Japan)We had the fatty tuna that was excellent, an assortment of nigiri sushi that was well selected, and a couple of rolls. I wasn't super hungry from the day, but it was enough for my husband and I.
The best sushi experience we’ve ever had. Excellent service and incredible food. It’s worth waiting. 10/10.
It took 3 hours to sit on 31-Dec. However all dishes were very tasty and affordable. It's about 12,000 yen for 2 adults and 2 kids. We had to wait for a long time but they offered waiting ticket so we could go shopping at Ginza before entering the restaurant. If you plan to visit, I recommend to get ticket first then go shopping or hanging around.
This place is well known not only by locals also by tourist. This is where you can get a real good sushi for cheap! There's always a long line in here, though ðŸ˜
Very nice restaurant. The price vs food quality is unbeatable!!!Staff is very friendly. But please be prepared and bring some time with you. Average waiting time until getting a table is around 2h, especially during the 'rush hours' (lunch and dinner time). Very nice that the offer free green tea while waiting.
An out of the world experience. First you took a ticket from the machine and waited to be seated starting from 2h if you were lucky or could be up to 4h and more. Crazy. The wait was however worth it.The food was excellent and unbeatable. Quality was good, fresh and seasonal. Prices were affordable. Super value for money. The crab salad and the tuna tartare were the signature dishes. Don't miss it. All other sushi and sashimi a la carte and sets were equally excellent.
Amazing sushi, reasonable price. You need to prepare at least 2000 yen to be able to enjoy meal here
It's good. seafood was fresh with original taste. Service was fast. Reasonable price.
If 6 stars was an option it would get that: incredible food, incredible selection, very friendly staff and reasonable prices especially for the quality.Things to note: it gets very busy, I arrived 20 minutes before opening and still had to queue to sit at the bar, I'd really recommend waiting for the bar though. Also the staff do not speak much English if that is a problem for you
Great sushi at a fantastic price point. We got here 40 minutes before opening and there was already a line! By the time doors opened, the line was extremely long. So expect a wait, but luckily there is complimentary iced green tea for you to drink while you wait. Probably the best bang for your buck sushi you're gonna find in the Tokyo area without paying an extremely large amount.
Everything was good, but I think it used to be better. I'd only go back if there's no wait for it. But I have to say their hokkigai is the best I had this trip. So fresh and so sweet
Love the premium uni! It’s a must try! It’s sweet and no bitterness! But the waiting can be long.. we waited for 2.5hours and to be honest there are quite a few nice sushi around the corner too but if you love tamago, conger eel and uni, then worth visiting!
Great sushi but quite the lineup. Definitely get there early and expect atleast 20 people to be ahead of you in line.
This is a popular sushi restaurant for both local and tourists, always long queue. Tonight tried the seasonal oyster (with lime sauce), o-toro sushi and various seafood. Still keep a high food standard as compared to the past.
Great Sushi restaurant. Always crowded, you have to reserve in advance. Delicious sushi and reasonable price. I really recommend you!
I love sushi. This place does not disappoint on flavor and selection. However the prices were disappointing. I was able to get fresher and equally good quality in Tsukiji Fish Market and at a better price.
Superb mid range sushi which would satisfy anyone for that price I'm sure! A very filling and satisfying meal. The otoro especially absolutely divine!
Love the sushi with fresh and thick cut of sashimi, service is good and location is convenience as well. I had satisfaction with my sushi premium set in tokyo :)
Worth the wait. Great sushi for a very reasonable price.
Best price to quality ratio in ginza. Went 3 times in my time in Tokyo. Long line but if you go at off peak hours I got a table in 10 minutes
